The structure and working principle of overrunning clutch

* Structure and working principle: The commonly used ones are mostly dry friction plate type, and most Dongfeng vehicles adopt this structure clutch. It is mainly composed of four parts: the driving part, the driven part, the pressing mechanism and the operating mechanism. Among them, the engine flywheel is the active part of the clutch. The hub of the driven disc with friction plate is connected with the driven shaft (that is, the first shaft of the gearbox) through the axial spline. The compression spring tightly presses the driven disc on the end face of the flywheel. The engine torque is transmitted to the driven disk by the friction between the contact surface of the flywheel and the driven disk, and then transmitted to the driving wheels via the driven shaft and a series of parts in the drive train.
