Driven by the timing belt or timing chain, the camshaft drives the valve to open and close at the correct time, and cooperate with the piston to complete the four processes of intake, compression, work and exhaust. Because the timing belt and timing chain will jump when running at medium and high speeds, and the timing belt will elongate and deform due to the material and force of the belt during long-term use, resulting in inaccurate gas timing. This will cause the vehicle to waste gas, weakness, knock and other faults. When there are too many skipping teeth, the engine will be damaged due to the valve opening or closing too late.
In order to keep the timing belt and the timing chain at a proper tension, that is, they will not jump due to excessive looseness and will not be damaged due to excessive tension. There is a special tensioning system consisting of a tensioner and a tensioner or Rail composition. The tensioner provides pressure to the belt or chain. The tensioner is in direct contact with the timing belt, and the guide rail is directly in contact with the timing chain. They operate with the belt or chain while applying the pressure provided by the tensioner on it, So that they maintain the appropriate degree of tension.
